Heidi Huebner, Founder

At a very young age Heidi began assisting her musical teacher with shows both as a choreographer and assistant director.  Continuing that tradition at Chapman University, Heidi double majored receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Communications with a Public Relations emphasis.  Her performance career took her on the road touring with shows both nationally and internationally.  She settled in Los Angeles where she continued working in the business.  Heidi founded her own production company, Bagilly Productions where she produced and directed many shows including Absolutely Divas in Vancouver; The Jack Crosley Show in New York; A tribute to Tina Turner by Gisele, Smoking Divas, Hollywood Super Stars and The LA-LA Girls in Los Angeles.  She recently joined forces with Max Mitchel as Associate Producer on the film Get Your Stuff, starring Elaine Hendrix, Lisa Ann Walters, David Faustino, Kelly Packard and Jim J Bullock.

Her newest and most fulfilling work is as Founder and Executive Director of her non profit organization Kids-n-Pets. The growing statistics of animal abandonment and the reality of millions of animals being euthanized every year propels her into action.  “I am committed to communicating that having an animal is a responsibility and a privilege.  I’ve seen and experienced the difference that animals make in the lives of humans and I find bringing people and animals together incredibly fulfilling.  My passion is to inspire more compassion in people for animals. Abandoning an animal is committing a crime; rescuing one is saving a life”.  Through research and finding out that there is a direct correlation between child abuse and animal abuse she asked herself what is the common thread that is missing.  It’s quite simply compassion and empathy.  What is missing in the world and not being taught in many homes or schools are positive life skills.  This is the basis and the thrust of Kids-n-Pets. As I always say “It is only through educating and raising awareness that change will occur.”
